It’s a big day for the Indian gaming community as the FAUG game finally gets released in the country. Akshay Kumar announced this ‘Made In India’ game soon after the countrywide ban of the famous multiplayer game PUBG Mobile. Ever since the announcement, Indian game lovers were eagerly waiting for FAUG which can be judged by the fact that more than 4 million users pre-registered for it. With such hype and buzz, FAUG is expected to be a big hit in India.
For those who are expecting FAUG game to be a replacement of PUBG mobile, there is bad news. The two games have a huge difference at least at this point. While PUBG Mobile was famous for its multiplayer mode, FAUG has a single-player campaign mode in the version launched today. Here is everything you need to know about FAUG game:
How to download FAUG game?
The game is currently launched only on Android, with the iOS version to be launched soon. To download the game, you will have to go to Google Play Store on Android or App Store on iOS (once it gets live). After searching the game, you can tap on the download button and the game will start downloading. Check the screenshot of the original FAUG game below:
Apart from this, you can also sideload the APK on Android device. However, it is recommended that you download this free game from the official play store.
FAUG game modes
Gamers who were assuming FAUG to be a replacement of PUBG mobile are in for a big setback here. The launched version has just a single-player campaign mode unlike PUBG – mobile. The game starts against the backdrop of real-life events in the Galwan Valley battle where the Indian Army had a face-off with Chinese soldiers last year.
The production company nCore Games has already announced that the multiplayer and battle royale game modes will not be available at the launch and will be added in the coming updates. This is definitely something the company has to work as soon as possible because the campaign mode lasts for just a few hours. It would become difficult to retain the users with a single-player campaign mode.
FAUG download size
The download size varies from device to device. The rough size varies from 460MB to 500MB.
FAUG supported phones
FAUG supports any device running Android 8.0 Oreo or higher. It means you can download and play this game on any mobile phone or tablet that has Android 8, 9, 10, and 11. The iOS version is not live yet and it remains to be seen the minimum configuration required to run the game on iOS devices.
FAUG game Lite version
nCore’s founder has announced that the company will consider launching a Lite version for budget phones depending on the response to the standard version. In case the demand is there, the company will definitely launch the Lite version.
FAUG in-app purchases
Though the game is free, it has in-app purchases priced from Rs 19 to Rs 2,999, depending on the bundle.
